Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Clash of Gyms ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EU/UK) to use Clash of Gyms. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement. We do not knowingly collect information from minors below these thresholds.

3. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under it. Authentication is handled via Google OAuth 2.0 or Supabase's secure auth system. You must not share your account or allow unauthorized access.

4. Prohibited Conduct

The following conduct is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account termination:

• Physical violence, threats, or encouragement of violence against any person.
• Harassment, bullying, stalking, or intimidation of other users.
• Using location features to track or confront users in the real world.
• Sharing personal information of others without consent (doxxing).
• Content promoting self-harm, eating disorders, dangerous fitness practices, or substance abuse.
• Impersonation of another user, gym, or official entity.
• Cheating, manipulation of check-in data, or any attempt to falsify XP or contest results.
• Promoting, soliciting, or distributing information about prohibited substances.

5. Substance Policy

Clash of Gyms has a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding harmful or prohibited substances.

We expressly do not promote, endorse, or encourage anabolic steroids, HGH, performance-enhancing drugs (PEDs), substances prohibited by WADA, or any dangerous supplementation protocols. Users found violating this policy will be permanently banned without notice.

6. Contests & Competitions

All in-app contests and competitions are recreational fitness events. Contest results are based solely on physical attendance and activity tracking. No monetary wagers are involved. No in-app contest should be construed as a professionally sanctioned sporting event.

Users participate in physical contests entirely at their own risk and should consult a qualified medical professional before undertaking any strenuous physical activity.

7. Gym Listings

Gyms are added by gym owners/management or by our administrators based on publicly available information. Gym owners may request removal by emailing admin@clashofgyms.com. Verified removal requests are processed within 7 business days.

8. User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use, display, and distribute it in connection with our services. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms.

9. Limitation of Liability

Clash of Gyms is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any injury, health consequence, or physical harm arising from use of the App. We are not responsible for the conduct of gym owners, clan leaders, or other users.

10. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms. Upon account deletion, your data is permanently removed within 30 days as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via a prominent in-app notice at least 7 days before taking effect. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
